How we handle your personal information.

This policy explains what personal data Global Quality Estates Ltd collects, why, and what rights you have. We are the data controller and are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office.

What we collect

  • Contact details: name, email, telephone, address
  • Enquiry details: what you asked us and any property involved
  • Tenancy and referencing information where you apply for a property: identity and right-to-rent documents, employment and income details, references and credit checks
  • Landlord information: property, ownership, bank details for rent payments
  • Website data: basic, anonymised usage statistics

Why we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide the service you asked for (contract)
  • To meet legal obligations, Right to Rent checks, anti-money-laundering, deposit protection, tax and safety records (legal obligation)
  • To manage tenancies and properties (contract and legitimate interests)
  • To send you property information where you have asked us to (consent)

Who we share it with

Only where necessary: referencing and credit-check providers, deposit protection schemes, contractors attending your property, our professional advisers, and public authorities where legally required. We do not sell your data to anyone.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not proceed are normally deleted within 12 months. Tenancy and landlord records are kept for six years after the end of the relationship, to meet legal and tax obligations.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, correct it, ask for erasure, restrict or object to processing, request portability, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email info@globalqualityestates.com.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This website uses only essential cookies needed for it to function, and does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Property pages can show a Google map of the area, but it is only loaded if you press the “Show map” button; until you do, nothing is requested from Google and no Google cookies are set. Once loaded, Google's privacy policy applies to that map. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; their privacy policy applies to that request.
